Women's R1 (1)

• YWCA won a hard fought match against Naenae, 2-0 with goals scored by Brony and Dee. Player of the day was Karen for her excellent attacking work, partciularly in the circle depsite being heavily marked.

Women's R1 (2)

• Win by default to YWCA (5-0) and ensures the team stays in R1 for 2011.

Men's R1

• Y-dub won 4 - 3 in overtime (required for grading results) against Kapiti. They scored early putting us on the back foot. Described as the best team performance of the year, we go tup 3 - 1. Kapiti managed to pull it back to 3 all at full time. In the thenth minute of overtime with seven on the turf, Chris (man of the match) managed to dove a goal home. Goal scorers: Chris (2), Mike and James M. Thanks to John for umpiring.

Men's R2

• Y-dub lost 3-4 against Vic 4. After losing Gaz after 15 minutes with a lower leg problem (likely calf muscle tear), we railled and created a 2-0 lead through team work for the first, and then a short corner. A warm humid day and two umpires in their first game didn't help, and we lost our defensive structure in the second half with only 11 bodies to call on. Man of the match Jono managed to get up and down the turf and if he was creating opportunities, he was shutting them down. A vaulable lesson learnt at this time of year.

Men's R3

• Y-dub drew with Petone 1 all, in a game that was there for the taking.
