- Lost 0 - 3 to Northern at Elsdon. I fear this week's performance may well have been the victim of a post nupital hangover. Sadly our performance on Elsdon's green carpet would have been unlikely to attract the attention of a frog, let along a handsome prince.Northern proved to be a real test - like us they finished top of their pool and haveing been relgated from P3 last season, they no doubt had aspirations of returning there. The result possibly flattered them a little, but I think its fair to say we saved our worst game to date for the best team. However, in what was a scrappy performance there were periods of fine passing to create goal scoring opportunities, sadly all unconverted. The loss means we will play Petone next week, the stronger of the two bottom P3 teams. If we want to play P3, we'll need to lift our game. Player of the day was our lace clad princess, Jo, for her sterling work at the back sweeping up pretty much everything that came her way (there was plenty!).

- The women's second team had a confident 3 - 1 win over Hutt at Elsdon. Fau's midfield energy and Helen's confidence down the left sideline earned them joint player of the day. Goals to Keryn, Annette and Stacey have left everyone in the team confident to make a real charge in the grade.

- Won 4 - 1. Hutt came at us with some creative hockey, making our defence scramble for the majority of the half. We scored first, but they soon evened it up, so we were locked up at half-time. A constructive talk mean we came out with vigour and netted three more. Goals from Player of the day Toby (2), Chris and Cole. A special mention to Rufus as an impact player off the bench.

- Won 5 - 1, and returned to the style of passing hockey that escpaed us in the previous playoff game. Harbour City were on defence from the outset. It took 25 minutes and a few opporutnties for us to zero in on target - but three inside 10 minutes broke their back. Despite no one on the bench, we continued to press and grabbed another before the heat caught up with us and they had the numbers with a counter attack to score. We finished them off with the fifth before a string of short corners to practice. It drew their keeper to put on a fine performance (the woodwork was a great second keeper as well) and it would have been double digits without him. Player of the day, Jack had great vision and created countless opportunities - let it continue.
