8 May updates:

Womens R1 (1)

• It was an important game, as winning meant promotion to P3. The game was very enjoyable, hard and well-fought. Scores were locked at 1 all at full-time - so went to golden goal, and Petone scored in the second period. Goal scorer was Jodee and Player of the day was Sylvia.

Womens R1 (2)

• The team drew 1 all with Naenae in a closely fought contest. After conceeding in the first half, Charlotte slotted an equaliser in a dominant second half display. The defence, featuring player of the day, Jules, managed ot shut down swift counter attacks.

Mens R1 (now P3)

• A dominant performance gave us the win and promotion (back) to P3. One up at halftime broke their back and spurred us on put away another four, so we won 5 - 1. Goal scorers: Rob (2), Chris (2) and Mike. Matt was MOM with a solid line of defence, that created a number of attacking opporutnities.

Mens R2

• Another example of how a quick passing game runs rings around an opposition and wins. Four in the first half and another two in the second sent a message to the rest of the grade on our intent for the season. MOM: Dan and thanks to Zac and Gaz for umpiring.

Mens R3

• A win would mean promotion, but unfortunately that didn't happen, losing 0 - 3.
